What this will mean to you!

This is a "gravity" flow system rather than a pressurized pumped system. It begins in the Walls/Beach area and is pumped eastward to Glenwood/Lakeview where the flow is gravity (downhill) to a lift-pumping station #1 at lake level at the end of Lakeview. The 8" pipe Is at this point 5.5 feet below ground. The flow then is to be downhill until it crosses Brooks Creek lake outlet and down to the Lift station #2 west of Lower Green St. In order to accomplish this The pipe depth at its deepest point in the Wilcox area will have to be over 31 feet.

The sewage from Bay point and the lake side of Green flows in to the #2` Lift for over a distance of 6000 ft. and because of the lack of sloping ground will have to be over 60 ft deep at the lift station. Ridiculous

The feed line on Green runs north into an existing lift station #3 for connection to the existing Fremont City sewage system. The plan also has a separate 8" gravity line servicing the three north Green St parcels. This seems very strange and costly???.
